Urban Projections and Pete Barber brought Stylus, an adventurous live performance blending film, light, and mural art, to Burn Yard Live in Budapest. Part of the Hungarian Grand Prix, Burn Yard invited 14 international street artists to transform a massive industrial space through vibrant, large-scale art. The project centred around giving new life to discarded, obsolete objects, reimagining them as beautiful, artful installations, infused with fresh creative energy.
Stylus used a combination of projection mapping and paint techniques to layer dynamic digital visuals with bold, hand-painted elements, creating a continuously evolving mural over several hours. Through this immersive approach, light, film, and paint merged in real time, animating surfaces and responding to the environment in a mesmerising interplay of colour, shape, and texture.
Burn Yard Live also featured contributions from top artists and creatives worldwide, including Gerry Judah, Dilk, M-City, Avicii, Kimi Räikkönen, and Dezmond. Together, they transformed the venue with graffiti, murals, and digital art, celebrating the global street art community and the power of creativity to transform the overlooked and forgotten into something breathtakingly new. Stylus stood out as a highlight, embodying the spirit of reinvention and artistic innovation that Burn Yard Live represents.
