In collaboration with contemporary British artist Mat Collishaw, Urban Projections crafted an immersive 4D installation for the launch of the Jimmy Choo Vices Collection at One Mayfair.

Inspired by the ethereal beauty of Mexico's Naica mines, the installation transformed the venue into an intricate crystalline world, where light and shadow intertwined with monumental crystal clusters to create a mesmerising environment.

At the heart of this installation was a meticulous video mapping process, layering shimmering light passes, pulsating glows, and dramatic shadow effects across enormous crystal shards and jagged towers. Video footage of urban elements—tower blocks, rain, and traffic—was seamlessly integrated, adding an urban edge that refracted across the crystals, amplifying their raw allure. This dynamic play of light created the illusion of refracted beams cascading across the towering crystal formations, immersing attendees in an otherworldly yet metropolitan landscape.

The evolving crystal environment set a stunning atmosphere for the exclusive launch event, where guests were invited to dine among the glowing crystalline structures. Michelin-starred chef Mark Hix curated a unique dining experience amidst this surreal metropolis, making the evening as captivating for the senses as it was for the imagination.

The collaboration between Urban Projections and Collishaw redefined the space, immersing guests in a high-fashion experience that mirrored the elegance and edge of Jimmy Choo’s Vices Collection.
